Skate Builder. GRIP

This project was carried out as the final assessment for the UX Design course at EDIT school, aiming to educate students in the creation of a UX/UI project. This practical work focused on developing a digital solution that meets user needs, simulating a real market scenario and preparing students for professional challenges in the UX/UI field. By completing the project for the Grip brand, students applied knowledge in research, prototyping, interface design, and usability testing, demonstrating the importance of user-centered design.
Project Overview

The main challenge was to create an online platform that not only simplified the skateboard customization process but also educated users about the various options and the importance of each component. Additionally, it was crucial to ensure a smooth and pleasant user experience that encouraged interaction and completion of purchases.
We developed the Skate Builder, an interactive customization tool integrated into the Grip website, allowing users to view and modify their skateboards in real-time.
Intuitive Interface: A clean and user-friendly interface that facilitated navigation among customization options.
User Education: Tips and useful information were provided at each step to help users make informed choices about skateboard components.
E-commerce Integration: After customization, users could easily add the product to the shopping cart and proceed to checkout, all within a secure and reliable environment.
Prototype: Try it Out!
